Trails and Hazards

At Kateland Farm is  always seems that the whips look forward to the cross country competitions.  We are very competitive in the cross country and cones and practice makes perfect.  I know a real nice fellow that won the Walnut Hill competition in 2001 by 1/100 of a second which when calculated out to be less than two inches.

We have built quite a few hazards at Kateland and have laid out many trails through the water and obstacles such as bridges, and a log tee.

Cones are always a lot of fun at the numerous events.  We have had the good fortune to have Bob Heinold located in the area and always available to design a cones course as well as a cross country obstacle course.
