Walnut Hill in 2006

Kateland Farms took 14 miniatures to Walnut Hill this year.  We competed in six divisions including single American miniatures, pair American miniatures, pair small pony, single small pony, four in hand/unicorn ponies and the commercial division.  In addition to the competition our eight horse musical drill team put on their yearly demonstration on Friday evening.  Kateland Farms ended with four championships in the singles and pair American miniature horse, small single pony and unicorn/ four in hand pony divisions.  A very successful year for the minis.

 

Single Competition

Pairs Competition

The pairs competition ended with Katie Rodas as champion with Dandy and Splash.  Jessica Jenney with Spicey and Yankee were reserve champions. The Walnut Hill competition is the pleasure driving gathering every year at Bill and Sue Remley’s Walnut Hill Farm.

The competition lasts for five days and typically is limited to 250 competitors with as many as 20 single miniatures and as many as six miniature pairs. The competition includes four classes which have been scheduled on throughout the week.  Come join us in August.
